It's time for another Friday Favorites!

Black & White Stripes

I feel like multiple posts have featured an article of clothing with stripes that are black and white or vice versa. Then when I went back to look at all my outfit posts there were only three. Just know that I've been rotating these two tops in my wardrobe every week since I purchased them.

This Storage Cubby From Target

Oh my word this thing has been a lifesaver. When we were getting close to moving I knew there was no way I wanted to drop a huge amount of money on a dresser that would take up way too much space, so I had to get crafty with storage. I love the shape of it, and it could store pretty much anything. You don't even have to fill the cubes with a box, you could leave it open and put books or whatever you wanted inside. I use mine for folded clothes. You'll definitely see a more in depth view in my apartment tour series!

Beauty Fave: MAC Whirl Lipstick

You all knew this one was coming. Everyone and their mother is probably over the "Kylie Jenner lip trend" right now but I'm not and you can't make me. I also clearly don't follow seasonal color trends becasue you'll probably find me wearing "fall lipsticks" in spring and "summer lipsticks" in the middle of winter because I'm fabulous and choose my lipstick shade in regards to my mood.

Food Fave:

Soy Vanilla Lattes from Greyhouse

Agh, I know, I'm cheating on Madcap. Unfortunately, I do not live in Grand Rapids and cannot venture to their amazing goodness of a cafe every morning. Lucky for me, Greyhouse is right next to the salon I work at and during my first week in Lafayette I got a soy vanilla latte from them four days in a row. Their cafe is cute, open late and the perfect spot to sit and blog. Plus, free wifi. I'm slowly turning into a real coffee afficionado because recently I've been more apt at picking up on the different flavor notes in the blends of espresso in my drinks. Greyhouse has really strong hints of chocolate in theirs and it is DELICIOUS.

Jasmine Shiree

Let me make a disclaimer- Jasmine doesn't pay me to promote her or talk about her- I really do just think she is that great that I mention her in like every other post/social media status. Her blog is absolutely splendid and she has taken most of my outfit photos for me and does a great job. She is a super talented artist, writer, and one of the wisest girls I know!
