Fashion posts are slowing down these next few days because I'm currently in the process of moving and packing all my clothes away.
That being said, I've decided to introduce a new blog post category called Wednesday Whims, where I can write about anything that pops into my brain during my week.

If you don't already know from following me on social media or reading this blog, I'm moving in less than a week. Moving is very exciting, but it also brings a lot of negative emotions like stress, anxiety, worry, and frustration. It's easy to get overwhelmed, especially if you're the type of person who constantly worries about something- example, me.
Instead of worrying about moving van costs and perfectly packed boxes, I've found lots of comfort in finding the simplicity in things. This has led to a lot of inspiration in my work as a hair and makeup artist, as a blogger, and as an amateur interior decorator. You know, because I get to pick out all the color schemes/decorations for the apartment. Yay!
Not only does focusing on living simply help to relax me, but it has really showed me what things I truly need, versus items that I want that may waste money/time/energy that could be put towards something more important.
Below are three link to things/people that I feel fully embody the theme of simplicity and have been a huge source of inspiration to me the past couple of months!
fashion blogger
Being a newbie blogger, I love looking at other blogs- a successful blog or a blog I really enjoy reading gives me a better understand of what I ultimately want my blog to be. Which is why my website/design/style is always evolving and changing.
Fire on the Head completely nails the simplicity aspect of a blog and has really impacted my fashion and design choices. Definitely go check out her blog if you enjoy fashion blogs.
coffee shop & roastery
I'm not planning on becoming a business owner or barista anytime soon, but the layout and work Madcap puts into their branding is superb. Everything looks super clean and open inside their cafe, and I honestly adore all their packaging and logo work. Huge inspiration interior decor and branding wise. Plus they make an amazing vanilla latte.
blogger, artist, & simply splendid human
This post simply would not be complete if it was without a shoutout to such a great friend! Jasmine was a huge influencer when I started my blog, has willingly taken photos for me time and time again, answers every silly question I have about blogging, and is so super talented. She just started her blog a few days ago, and it's already amazing. Ironically, our posts for today are about really similar topics. Great minds think alike, am I right?
