Last Friday I told you how I like to dress comfortable without throwing on a pair of yoga pants.

This Friday I'm appreciating the greatness that is leggings and sweaters.

While I would prefer to be wearing shorts and sandals, the weather in Indiana has not been in my favor as of late. So I've been reverting back to a classic outfit I normally pull out in the cooler months. Long sweaters and leggings are easily a lazy outfit that looks super put together when done correctly. But first, can we talk about how perfect this sweater is? If you need to know anything about me, it's that I have a slight lipstick obsession. It's almost embarassing, but I like to think I keep the economy thriving when I purchase a new lip product everytime I hit up the local drugstore... (That's an exaggeration, I'm actually really improving on cutting down my impulse buys) I have it a few sizes bigger so that it is more slouchy and covers my bum. I'm not one of those people who shames people who wear leggings and don't cover their butt though, let's be clear. You do you, girlfriend.

Regardless of what the weather would have you think, it is summer, so I paired it with some lightweight capri cut leggings versus longer, heavier ones. I'm a strong believer in the fact that black leggings are a crucial wardrobe piece and everyone should own at least one pair.

I was working today so I went for a more practical pair of shoes- these quilted slip-ons are from Target and remind me of Vans or another more expensive brand. Does anyone else think of Chanel when they see something that is quilted, black, and leather/faux leather? If I wasn't working I definitely would have gone with flats or a cute open-toed pair of shoes.

I swiped on a bright lipstick because how can you wear a sweatshirt with lipsticks on it and NOT wear a bright lip. Duh. Also, I think a made up face with your hair done helps an outfit to look less lazy, which works for me!

Are you over the leggings and slouchy sweater trend, or do you think it's one that won't go out of style?
